Directly in front of the house you will discover Hohe Tauern National Park and can end the day from May to October with a barbecue at the shared barbecue area or the furnished terrace.

Your arrival:
You can reach Enzingerboden via a well-maintained mountain road, which is also cleared in winter. The location is in the middle of Hohe Tauern National Park. It is 17 kilometres to Uttendorf, where you will also find supermarkets and doctors. The local railway station there is connected to the Pinzgauer Lokalbahn. Snow chains and all-wheel drive are advantageous in winter.
From September 2020 until expected 2025, there may be disruptions from a construction site 600 m away. A tunnel will be built here from 2020 to approximately early 2022 and subsequently (2021 to 2025) a hydroelectric power station will be erected in the mountain. We ask for your understanding and can promise you that you will still be able to enjoy the wonderful mountain scenery around the Weißsee Glacier.

Hohe Tauern National Park is worth a visit in both summer and winter. Enjoy long hikes or climbing tours in summer or discover the slopes of the well-known ski area in winter!
